TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK- STAFF SHOUT-OUT: "Mr. Greene has always brought a positive and inviting setting in his classroom no matter what and always engages with his students. Many of his lessons not only cover content in the class but his lessons also tie into real world situations that are applicable later in life. Mr. Greene is also never afraid to be real with his students and share stories ranging from funny to tragic, which also tend to be another one of his great life lessons. One of which was during a family emergency he made sure to take care of his family and put them first and still miraculously made time to give his students content to keep growing in their learning. If a student is having a hard time, he talks to them and helps to guide them in the best way he can setting them on a positive trajectory. They have a love for a lot of the same things; success in academics, competitive in sports, etc. Grant has been such a great teacher for Luke and pushing him to be the best he can be. TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK- STAFF SHOUT-OUT: "I have gotten to know Mr. Bolduc through the Chess program that he has developed at Madison. Teaching a Specials class, as parents we often don't have much interaction with these teachers at the elementary level. My oldest has been in Chess now for 5 years, and this year I got a chance to watch Mr. Bolduc in "action" as he helped students prepare for the state competition. State practices were held in the evening, and parents were invited to meet as well. I could really see his love for teaching the game and strategizing with the students. His passion radiates and makes the kids excited to learn new "moves" in the game. You can tell how much he loves teaching kids. My oldest is now teaching his younger brothers to play chess, and they can't wait to join Chess Club when they get into second grade. Having three children with very different learning styles, interests and personalities, she managed to bring out the best in them and create continuous learners.
