Warsaw Community High School/WACC Freshman Orientation
WCHS and WACC will hold Freshmen Orientation on Tuesday, August 9th at Warsaw Community High School.
Doors will be open from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. (Please enter through the PAC doors).
All incoming freshmen students and parents / guardians are invited to attend. Some highlights of the orientation will include important information regarding the school year, picking up student iPads and hearing from key school figures including your grade level principal Mr. Bailey.
Due to space constraints we will hold two separate but identical meetings.
The first meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. and the second meeting will begin at 7 p.m. There will also be a meeting at 7:45 p.m. for students participating in athletics at WCHS. If you do not plan on participating in athletics please attempt to attend the 5:30 p.m. orientation meeting. Students planning on playing a sport are encouraged to come to the 7 p.m. meeting and stay for the athletics meeting. However, you may attend either of the orientation meetings.
The TECH Team will be in the WCHS cafeteria from 5 pm to 8 pm for students to pick up their iPads & purchase Accidental Damage Protection (ADP). Students will receive their iPad at this event as well as information to purchase insurance on that device. Insurance is a valuable asset to have in case of an accident. iPad insurance for freshmen will be $28.

We will have guides and translators available to help with directions and iPad pick up.
*NEW THIS YEAR* The WCHS administration will be serving hotdogs and water at 6:15 p.m. between the meetings.
Students will also have a chance to tour the school and their class schedule. This is an important evening designed to help you and your student make a smooth transition into Warsaw Community High School. Go Tigers!
