Mark Fick, Director of Transportation, Kristy Newton, Assistant Director of Transportation, and WCS bus drivers surprised Jean Taylor who will be retiring after decades of driving a school bus for this corporation.
Mark Fick delivered a heartfelt speech of appreciation and congratulations as Jean retires at the end of the month to start a new chapter and to be closer to her family in Illinois. Jean's colleagues and friends honored her with a beautiful gift commemorating Jean and Bill's contributions. The gift was inscribed with, "Jean & Bill, in all your journeys one lead to WCS Transportation. We're grateful, you'll be missed."
Dr. Hoffert, Superintendent, and April Fitterling, CFO, were then surprised with a home crafted gift made by Jeff Drumm as a token of WCS Transportation's appreciation for all the support they have received.
WCS would like to wish Jean Taylor a happy retirement and thank all in the transportation department for their outstanding dedication to the staff, students, and families in our community.
