We are getting ready to leave for Christmas break but want our current 8th-grade parents to mark their January 11th and January 18th, 2024 calendars. WCHS counselors will be at Lakeview to present about scheduling for High School on January 11th after lunch during the long homeroom time. Students and parents will then have the opportunity to go to the open house on January 18th to learn about classes and pathways. The High School counselors will then return to Lakeview to meet with each student individually to enroll in the 9th-grade classes. #ExperienceWCS #ExperienceLakeview #CareerPathways

We are absolutely smitten with the holiday season at Lakeview. We can't get enough of the festive vibes and the community spirit that comes with it. The twinkling trees and the quirky "twin day" with a “two turtle doves” theme is a total feast for the eyes. It fills our heart with joy to see everyone come together to spread school spirit & holiday cheer. Check out what’s lined up for next week! #ExperienceWCS #ExperienceLakeview

Alina Marie Bower-Willig recently presented Lakeview Middle School with a collection of books in memory of her dear friend, Becky Denzer, who served as a librarian at Madison, Gateway, and Lakeview within the Warsaw Community Schools district. Each book is personalized with an embossed name and a dedicated plate. The school community is immensely grateful for this thoughtful gesture, and we are confident that these books will bring joy to many students.#ExperienceWCS #ExperienceLakeview #Tribute

In a last-ditch effort to defeat the WACCY welding and machining classes, Lakeview students brought in negative 6,341 points and slammed their cup full of change! Unfortunately, that was like a drop in the Jar Wars ocean. The WACCY classes overcame that deficit to convincingly win the Jar Wars battle. They ended the week with 21,543 points. The next closest challenger was Boggs. Her class counted the money BUT they were honest about their total of 4,439 points. The WACCY classes had collected 27,970 negative points to throw around, and they were biding their time to bomb the next closest leader. That should have been Boggs, but another teacher got mouthy. This person challenged the WACCY classes, talked smack, and is now feeling the burn. Mr. Brumbaugh is new to Lakeview, so he's still learning how things work. His total.. at the end of the war... was negative 25,555 points. Out of pity, the WACCY classes will be awarding them a donut party as the biggest loser of the Jar Wars in the history of Lakeview Middle School. The welding and machine classes created an amazing trophy that is on display in Mrs. Boggs's class. Stop by to see it before it makes its way to its rightful place in the WACC. In the end, the families we adopted are the big winners. #ExperienceWCS #ExperienceLakeview #AdoptaFamily #WACC #JarWars #Christmas 2023 VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/ARZuPQQuOPc?feature=shared
