Lakeview Middle School

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Beefy Nachos or PB & J Meal

The Lakeview Boys Track team took on Riverview and Crestview at home last night. The Tigers won big with a score of 78.5pts. Riverview placed 2nd with 37.5 pts and Crestview 3rd with 20 Pts. Our team had a lot of great performances but one we cannot ignore came from Jordan Randall who broke our school record jumping 5'5 as a 7th grader. Tonight we travel to Manchester and I cannot wait to watch these boys compete again.  We have a lot of great leaders on our team and as their Coach I am so proud of how they represented our school in our Season Opener

The Lakeview girls track ran their first meet yesterday between Riverview and Crestview. The girls dominated the Long Jump getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Jumpers were Camryn Burner, Grace Kaser, and Olivia Martinez. All set personal bests! Next the girls’ high jumper won Lakeview both 1st and 3rd place by Leila Knepp and Grace Kaser. Kate Briscoe got Lakeview 4th place in discus. For runners, Lakeview won the 100m dash with Camryn Burner and 2nd by Ella Laput, 2nd in the mile by Sammi Rastrelli, 1st in the 400m relay, second in the 400m relay by Ella Laput, 2nd in the 200 hurdles by Ally Anderson, 2nd in the 800m run by Sammi Rastrelli and lastly the girls finished their meet with a first place finish in the 1600m relay. All together, the girls got a total of 54points beating BOTH Riverview and Crestview. Their coaches are very proud of all runners! Please cheer our girls on as we go up against Manchester tonight! Well done everyone!
