Tomorrow’s Lunch: Turkey and Noodles or a PB&J Meal

This week is our Winter Blues spirit week! Today kicks off our week with crazy hair. Tomorrow is Dynamic Duo or Sassy Squad day, so grab your peeps and make a match! Remember, this week's spirit week is a contest, with the prize being a donut party for the winning homeroom! Have fun planning the rest of your week! 

Student Council is selling Valentine Grams this week at lunch! Send a surprise scratch-off message and sucker to someone special for just $1, and it will be delivered Thursday or Friday this week! 

The Drama Club is performing The Jungle Book for this year's play.  The dates are Feb. 26th at 6 pm and the 27th at noon. All students will need to be accompanied by an adult and have purchased tickets. All tickets are pre-sale with no ticket being sold at the door. Teachers and students If you would like to attend please email J. Davis for ticket and purchasing information. 

REMINDER: For all 8th graders interested in playing football who are not currently in a winter sport. Workouts will begin Monday, February 8th, at the high school. Transportation to the high school will be provided. Have your parents pick you up by 4:45 at door 22.

Track Conditioning is today from 3-4PM in Rainbow Hallway. Please have your rides here by 4:PM

The 8th grade girls’ basketball team won the Blackhawk Christian Tournament this Saturday defeating both Carroll (45-27) and Eastside (33-28).

1st game vs. Carroll: Brooke Winchester had 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Abbey Peterson had 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Remy Donovan added 6 points, and Addison Whitaker added 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Leila Knepp had 2 points and 2 rebounds, and Anna Robertson tallied 1 point. 

2nd game vs. Eastside: Brooke Winchester had 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Abbey Peterson had 11 points (3 3’s), 6 assists, 3 steals and 2 rebounds.  Remy Donovan had 2 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Addison Whitaker added 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Leila Knepp added 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
