Tomorrow’s Lunch Menu: Hamburger or PBJ Meal  

 Are you interested in leadership development, community service, and gaining experience in potential careers in agriculture?  If so- please join us for the Warsaw FFA September Meeting on Wednesday, September 30 from 6-7:30 pm in the WCHS Agriculture Rooms (at the high school).  Please enter through Door #4.  We will have a snack and discuss opportunities to be involved in FFA.  Bring a friend!  Remember to bring your annual $20 FFA Dues.  If you have any questions and/or to sign up to attend, please see: Lakeview- Mrs. Kincaid in F127 between periods 6-7

The Volleyball Teams participated in the Dunes Tournament this weekend

In pool play the 7th grade team went 4-0 

Winning Against Kankakee Valley: 25-14, 25-24

They also won against John Young: 25-22, 25-14

They won against Winamac in the Gold Bracket: 25-8, 25-16

They fell short against West side in 3 sets: losing the first set 22-25, winning the second set 25-23, and playing a hard third set but losing 11-15.

For the day:

·       Kate Brisco had a record 15 serve in a row streak! She had 8 aces, 9 kills and 2 blocks

·       Lilly Henderson had 4 aces, 3 kills and 32 assists!

·       Kasiahh Chupp had 8 aces and 13 kills

·       Joslyn Bricker had 1 ace, 11 kills and 2 assists

·       Cecelia Goode had 12 aces and 15 kills

·       Brooklyn Edwards had 4 kills

·       Hilary Reiner had 15 aces, 6 kills and 14 assists

·       Olivia Sutton had an ace and 4 perfect passes

 Season Record= 16-3

The 8th grade team went 5-1 in pool play.

They beat Westview 25-13, 25-9, Northridge 25-7, 25-18, lost one to John Young 21-25 then beating them 25-12. In bracket play, we beat Lakeshore 25-5, 25-9, and for the championship match Lakeview beat John Young 25-23, 24-25, and 15-12

For the day: 

·       Daihya Chupp had 8 aces, 16 kills, and 15 assists

·       Maggie Hollon had 9 aces, 27 kills, and 2 blocks

·       Mia Jones had 3 aces, 12 kills, and 1 block

·       Emma Van Pluffen had 4 kills

·       Abbey Peterson had 9 aces, 1 kill, and 51 assists

·       Lilia Gustafson had 2 kills

·       Ally Anderson had 10 kills

·       Brooke Winchester had 20 kills and 4 blocks

·       Nevaeh Lowe had 3 aces

·       Leila Knepp had 2 kills

The Spell Bowl team's first two meetings will be today and tomorrow after school until 3:45 in E5.   If you are interested in joining the Spell Bowl team, you need to either make it to one of these meetings or email Miss Allen at kallen@warsawschools.org by the end of the day
