The Lakeview 8th Grade volleyball team beat Wawasee 15-25, 25-19, and 15-6.

The 7th Grade Lakeview team won against Wawasee 25-13 and 25-21
∙ Lilly Henderson had 6 assists
∙ Joslyn Bricker had 1 ace and 4 kills
∙ Cecelia Goode had 7 aces and 4 kills
∙ Kate Briscoe had 4 aces and 2 kills
∙ Hilary Reiner had 6 aces and 5 assists
The team moves to 11-2 for the season.
Reminder: Monday is a scheduled eLearning Day. Students will do work at home and teachers will be in the building. eLearning assignments will be posted by 7:45 a.m. on Monday. Teachers will be in professional development meetings in the morning so they will check email periodically. They will be also be available from 12:30 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. to answer questions and offer help. Please be sure to watch the eLearning video that will be sent out by Monday morning—this will come from Mrs. Sivley.
Are you good at spelling, or interested in becoming better at it? Consider joining the Spell Bowl team where you will compete against other schools in team-based written spelling bees to help you improve and show off your spelling skills! If you are interested in joining, stop by Miss Allen’s room (E5) or send her an email at kallen@warsawschools.org to get more information and let her know you are interested.
Catch Up Café is BACK! Do you need help after school? Then Catch Up Café is for you. On Tuesday and Thursday of most weeks, Catch Up Café will take place in the library. This runs from 3:05 to 4:30 p.m. There will be teachers and paras available to help you with assignments. Students that attend are expected to work on assignments just like in a classroom. If you plan to stay, please be sure you have a ride lined up for 4:30 p.m.
Did you know that Student Council is on social media? Find one of our posters around school to follow us, and you might just win an AWESOME prize! We will do a random drawing from each of our accounts' followers on FRIDAY September 25th. If your name is drawn, one of our awesome student council members will visit you with a prize!
