7th and 8th grade students are invited to audition for the High School Spring Musical: Matilda! Rehearsals are from 3:30-5:30pm, students would need their own transportation to and from rehearsals. Auditions are Dec 4-8. Follow the link for more information!

The Boston Tea Party helped lead to the American Revolution. 8th grade history students developed a way to safely send tea to the thirsty citizens of Boston. #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM


Friendship Bracelet making - students teaching students! Today, student Loren E. taught a group of 12 others how to make friendship bracelets. The class was so popular it will be offered again! Shout out to Loren E. and Audrey G. who jumped right in to help others! #ExperienceWCS





Students in Mrs. Toumey’s Flextime took 25 minutes to build a scene from a well known fairy tale. Afterwards, the groups walked around and voted for the most creative scene. #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM






Mrs. Adamiec's Hope students made keychains this week. They picked a word or two that meant something to them to focus on for the year. They hang them on their backpacks or their lanyards. #ExperienceWCS



Who knew collecting data could be so much fun! Science students timed the speed of golf balls moving down a ramp at distances of 1, 2, 3 and 4 meters. They then calculated the rate of acceleration using a formula - and they did it well! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM


Thanks to the many women engineers who volunteered their time to mentor our middle school girls in Forget Princess; I Want to be an Engineer! Many girls commented on how fun the event was and have a new concept of what an engineer does! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM
