Free Flu Shot Flyer

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition (NIHHC), Walgreens, Walmart Pharmacy, K21 Health Foundation, and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Warsaw will be joining forces to provide critically needed flu shots to the communities of Kosciusko County.

On Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, located at 225 Gilliam Dr., Warsaw, IN
46580, Walgreens staff will be administering flu shots to anyone over the age of 11 at the
parking lot of the church. Shots will be offered free to uninsured patients, regardless of race, with no appointment or doctor’s referral needed.

If you are unable to attend Sunday’s event but are in need of a flu shot, please call NIHHC at
574.206.3938 or 574.522.0966. You will be asked some eligibility questions and then, if you are
eligible, you will receive a voucher to have your free flu shot administered at Walmart
Pharmacy, located at 2501 Walton Blvd., Warsaw, IN 46580.

There are more than 404,000 Hispanics in Indiana and almost 70% do not have health care
coverage. As the population continues to grow, more community members will be left without
coverage, facing significant barriers to care—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which
has hit the Hispanic community particularly hard. Now more than ever, it is important to receive
a flu shot. NIHHC aims to help provide much-needed healthcare resources to those in the
community who need it most.

Thank you to Walgreens, Walmart Pharmacy, Our Lady of Guadalupe, K21 Health Foundation,
Lake City Bank, Grace College, and Bowen Center for making this initiative possible!
