Congratulations to former Jefferson Spartan Noah Wright, 2022 Recipient of the Catherine Abbitt/Jefferson School Memorial Scholarship.
Cathy Abbitt was a 3rd grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. After her battle with cancer ended in 2010, her friends and family made gifts in her memory to establish this fund to help Jefferson Elementary School alumni pursue their college dreams.

Lunch: Hot dog or yogurt meal, steamed corn, fresh carrots, fruit slushie, graham crackers, and milk.
Activities: Field Day!
Field Day Volunteers: We plan to be outside [at least] this a.m., as the weather allows. Should we have to pivot, we will. :)

Today is Mrs. Cooper's last day as a Jefferson Kindergarten Teacher! We wish her all the best as she begins her next great chapter of life, entitled "Retirement."

It’s awards day! Students will have the opportunity to shop for spirit gear today to recognize their accomplishments!

Lunch: Cheese Pizza, Dill Chicken Bites, Mini Twin Cheeseburger, PBJ Meal, broccoli with cheese, french fries, choice of fruit, and milk. *Not all of these options will be available for each class. We are cleaning out our freezer and using up random items. If you want, you can just say "Cook's Choice," and it will be a surprise. 😃
Activities: Awards Day in classrooms; Kindergarten Walk around Winona Lake.

Lunch: BBQ chicken sandwich or yogurt meal. Cool Tropics veggie juice, baked beans, sliced red apple, and milk.
Activities: 4th Grade dissections in the cafeteria; 6th Grade Graduation, 2:30; 2nd Grade zoo trip has been cancelled.
Today's 2nd-grade field trip to the zoo has been cancelled, due to weather.
