We’re kicking off our very first Tiger Tuesday of the school year by celebrating a very special retirement, K9 Bubka from the Warsaw Police Department!
After 10 years of service to the City of Warsaw and Warsaw Community Schools, 13-year-old narcotics dog Bubka is officially retiring after spending his final years patrolling the halls of Warsaw Community High School.
More than just a K9 officer, Bubka brough smiles and comfort wherever he went. His presence helped pave the way for therapy dogs in our schools. At a special retirement ceremony, Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert presented Bubka with a well-deserved retirement bone—one nearly as big as Bubka himself!
Thank you, Bubka, for your years of loyalty, service, and the joy you brought to WCS. What an incredible way to start our Tiger Tuesday recognitions for the year!
