Hello Leesburg Families! 

Welcome back to school! We look forward to seeing many of you tonight for Meet the Teacher from 4:30-6:00. Please bring your child's school supplies and communicate with your child's teacher about how they are going home. A few additional notes about the 1st Day of School tomorrow: 
  • Students will be allowed to enter beginning at 9:00 a.m. The late bell rings at 9:20 a.m.
  • Due to security, safety, and to help with transitions, no parents will be able to enter the school building tomorrow to walk their child to their classrooms. If you are bringing your child to school, please utilize the normal parent drop off in the back of the building. 
  • One exception to this will be for kindergarten students. If you have a kindergartener, you may park out front, and walk your child up to the primary playground kindergarten doors. The kindergarten teachers will be there beginning at 9:00 a.m. for pictures and to walk your child to their kindergarten classroom. If your kindergartener has older siblings, they can enter through these doors as well with the kindergartener. Again, due to security, safety, and to help with transitions, no parents will be able to come inside the school. 
  • ALL parent pick up students will be picked up in the back of the building. Due to first day of school busyness, please call the school office no later than 3:00 p.m. if your child's transportation plans have changed.
