Warsaw Community High School (WCHS) Student Council will host the annual Homecoming Parade at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The parade will feature the official WCHS Homecoming Court along with floats representing clubs, activities and athletic teams from across WCHS. This year’s Homecoming theme is Fairytales, and spectators are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing as a character from their favorite fairytale.

Serving as this year’s Grand Marshal is longtime WCHS educator Steve Waldeck, who recently retired after an incredible 42 years of service teaching computer programming, web design and business management. Steve Waldeck helped and inspired countless students throughout their time at WCHS.

During his fresh retirement, he has finished writing two novels, and he has another three in the works.

The parade will begin in the WCHS Performing Arts Center parking lot before traveling to Union Street. The route will turn right onto Market Street, left onto Indiana Street and left onto Main Street before ending at Lake Street. Candy will be distributed along the parade route.

Following the parade, the Tigers will take on Goshen at 7 p.m. at Fisher Field for the Homecoming football game. The WCHS Homecoming Court will be recognized at halftime.

Tickets may be purchased online through the WCHS Athletic Office website or at the gate.
