Warsaw Schools Kicks Off the 2026-27 School Year

WARSAW, IN - Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) officially launched the 2026-27 school year this morning with a districtwide staff celebration centered around the theme #LeadingTheWay. The event marked the kickoff of the district's new five-year strategic plan, built around the acronym LEAD, representing its four strategic priorities: Life-Ready Learners, Engaged Families & Community, Aligned Operations & Administration, and Dedicated Teachers & Staff.
More than 1,000 teachers, support staff, administrators and employees gathered at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center to celebrate the start of the new school year. The morning featured breakfast, a Community Partners Fair, and the distribution of this year's Tiger Tuesday shirts, designed by recent WCS graduate Amani Rodriguez. Staff from schools and departments across the district also took the stage alongside Windy City Dueling Pianos for "The Playlist of the Year," to reenact the staff's (and students’) journey of a school year!
