Warsaw Schools Blood Drive Doubles Goal

WARSAW, IN - Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) hosted a blood drive on May 4, 2026 that saw an overwhelming response from WCS staff and the community, far surpassing initial expectations.
In partnership with the American Red Cross, the original goal for the drive was to secure 25 donors. By the end of the registration period, more than 60 donors had signed up, and additional appointment times were opened to accommodate the demand.
“The event reflects the willingness of the Warsaw Community Schools community to support meaningful causes. The donations collected will help meet ongoing needs, and the success of this drive provides a solid foundation for similar efforts in the future,” said Tracy Beiler, Human Resources Manager. “We also want to extend a thank you to WCS Benefits Coordinator, April Swihart, for her leadership in organizing and promoting the blood drive.”
The donations collected will help meet ongoing needs within the community and beyond. WCS is thankful for the continued support of its staff and community.
