Congratulations also go out to Samuel Lechlitner, Class of 2021, who was notified that he has met the requirements to advance to finalist standing in the competition. All finalists are considered for National Merit Scholarship awards to be offered later this spring. The selection of 7,500 Merit Scholarship winners from the group of more than 15,000 finalists is now underway. Later in March, the National Merit Scholarship Committee will be notifying schools of winners with media announcements coming in April and May. Congratulations Samuel Lechlitner on this outstanding recognition.
