2018 Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Planning Underway
In our world today, 925 million people are chronically hungry. Approximately 6,200 children die every day from hunger related causes. Warsaw Community Schools and the surrounding community have partnered with Feed My Starving Children since 2014 to make a difference in the fight against world hunger.
FMSC is pleased to announce the next Warsaw MobilePack event is scheduled for Oct. 17-20, at the Gordon Recreation Center on Grace College Campus. Over 5,000 community volunteers will have the opportunity to be involved, including over 2,000 Warsaw Community School students.
The Warsaw Mobilepack steering committee will hold an informational meeting on 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Warsaw Community Public Library Meeting Room AB. The committee invites community members, business leaders, church leaders and anyone affiliated with a club or an organization who wish to be a part of this great community event to attend. There are many ways to get involved. Come and find out how your talents can be utilized. Mobilization packets will be provided to all attendees.
