At approximately 9:33 a.m. Monday, March 11, officials at Warsaw Community Schools received a notification from staff at Madison Elementary of a potential safety concern. As per safety protocols, a precautionary lockout has been initiated to allow administrators and police to conduct an investigation. The lockout status allows classroom activities to continue as planned however, outside visitors to the building will not be permitted until the investigation has concluded.

Warsaw Community Schools would like to thank staff at Madison and officers with Warsaw Police Department for their continued vigilance in ensuring student safety. More details will be shared following the conclusion of the safety investigation. 

Don't forget to attend the WCHS Riley Carnival in the Tiger Den tonight from 6-8 p.m. Families with children ages preschool to sixth grade are invited to enjoy games, activities and more. Please note, all children attending must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
