Dates: July 11-15, 2016
Location: Ivy Tech Orthopedic & Advanced Manufacturing Training Center

Students will be engaged in the creative design of 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) models to create a race car. They will then see how products can be designed and created using additive manufacturing (3D printing) with geometries that are not possible with other technologies. Students will also get to tour a modern design facility and 3D printing lab.

This camp will provide young people with an understanding of how modern technology is used to develop, design and manufacture products to solve 21st century problems.  Students will engage in a STEM focused hands-on problem solving approach for a design problem. In addition, the student will get the opportunity to design and print a 3D polymer product of their own.
