Dr. David Hoffert - Superintendent

Dr. Hoffert is a proud graduate of the Warsaw Community High School and a lifelong resident of the Warsaw Community. He began his teaching career in Warsaw Community Schools as a WCHS history teacher. He served as the principal at Northfield Jr./Sr. High in the MSD of Wabash school district. Dr. Hoffert returned to Warsaw as the Chief Academic Officer and Assistant Superintendent prior to his current appoint as the WCS Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Hoffert received his PhD in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University.
Dear Students, Parents, and Community Patrons,

On behalf of Warsaw Community Schools, I welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year. Our long-standing tradition of academic achievement, extensive curricular offerings, enrichment opportunities, and extra-curricular activities awaits our 7200 students. This year will be one of great promise as we continue forward living within our mission and strategic objectives.

Our dedicated and highly qualified faculty and staff provide an educational environment for ALL students. This year our corporation is thrilled to introduce K-12 advancements in STEM education, expansion of student-led service opportunities within our curriculum to inspire dreams and enrich the lives of others, and the addition of multiple academic courses to prepare students for college and career professions.

In Warsaw Community Schools our mission is to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others. I wish to extend my gratitude to our stakeholders as we strive to live and extend our mission within our schools and community.
