Warsaw Community School's 5th and 6th graders have taken time throughout the month of March to engage in a friendly competition to see which classroom in each school could attempt and pass the highest number of lessons in the online enrichment and remediation program Think Through Math. We are pleased to announce during this last month, students have spent 1,847 hours engaged in problem solving, completed a total of 8,526 unique lessons, and solved 305,669 math problems.

Warsaw Community Schools is holding a Think Through Math competition for all 5th and 6th classrooms and students for the entire month of March. Think Through Math is a research-based learning system designed to support students who are struggling with mathematics. Using a powerful blend of Web-based, adaptive instruction and live, state-certified teachers, Think Through Math transforms the way students think about-and think through-mathematics.

Let the games begin! DreamBox Learning's March Math Madness is off to a great start. Warsaw Community Schools is holding a March Math Madness contest for students in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. Students are encouraged to use DreamBox at school and at home to complete as many lessons as possible. DreamBox will award a pizza party to the class at each school with the highest average lessons completed at the conclusion of the contest on Monday, March 31st.
