WCS ISTEP+
ISTEP+
Each spring WCS students participate in the state mandated testing program called the the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus or more simply: ISTEP+.
Indiana students have been taking ISTEP+ since 1988. ISTEP+ in its current version changed in 2009 to test the Indiana Academic Standards adopted in 2000. Students in grades 3 through 8 take the ISTEP+ each spring to measure their skills on the Indiana Academic Standards in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies (grades 5 and 7) and Science (grades 4 and 6).
